I've just produced a tiny Zimki realm that will convert your dopplr friends list into a Google Earth KML overlay. It uses the zimki remote calls to get the dopplr API data, E4X to parse the XML and again to produce the KML output, and the whole thing is written in JavaScript, which I find nice and efficient, so there's relatively little code.

Personally, though, the reason I wrote it in Zimki is because it now sits there, my own little web application, and I'll never need to worry about maintaining it.
