Some of the guys around the office have been kicking an inflated pig's bladder around every Tuesday for some time. This year we've gone a bit further and entered Team Zimki in a lunchtime league.

We won our first scheduled match 5–0 a few weeks ago (unfortunately by the virtue of the other team not showing) but lost the second. It was a rather humbling experience—our opponents got in a few cheeky goals and we scored none—but it made the outcome of today's match all the more sweeter as we won 2–0!

I was substituted at half-time, when we were at 1–0. It came as a surprise to me that it was actually harder to watch from the side than playing, despite how tired I was just from the first half. It was very, very exciting; especially with our excellent goalkeeper being given a 2 minute suspension midway through the second half.
